Family donates $10,000 for scholarship

The Schultz family donated a $10,000 endowed scholarship to the Southern York County School District Foundation in memory of their son, Stephen Schultz III.

The scholarship began last year, when the family donated money in memory of Stephen. He would have attended York College, his mother Donna Schultz said, and added that the family wanted to use the money to advance the education of another student.

“Some young person will go and make good with this scholarship,” Foundation Vice President Jeff Brown said.
